We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracting/Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction site management, including planning, organizing, and directing construction activities to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. They will also demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, effectively managing and motivating a team of construction workers to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion

  • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure seamless project execution

  • Monitor project progress and adhere to strict deadlines and budgets

  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

  • Supervise and train construction workers, providing guidance and support

  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential issues proactively

  • Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive working relationship with all project stakeholders

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports

Qualifications:

Division: Allied Garage Door Sales & Service

Reports To: Business Manager

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Garage Door Installer/Technician to join our growing team but are also willing to train the proper candidate if they’re willing to learn. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of garage door installation, repair, and maintenance procedures. They will also possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently (when they feel confident doing so) and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on garage doors

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose garage door malfunctions

  • Replace worn or damaged garage door parts

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the general public

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Prefer candidates with mechanical, industrial, or construction experience, but will train the right attitude and personality

  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles

They will also demonstrate teamwork skills, effectively collaborating with other laborers and tradespeople to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of manual labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling materials

  • Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites

  • Clean and maintain construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment

  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment

  • Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by site supervisors

  • Follow safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
